    there can be people on other planets and such planets must have conditions favourable to life. Source of energy, water, oxygen or some sort of atmosphere.

    to search life on heavenly bodies first we must concentrate on micro-organism.i think we will be able to find some species which can survive in adverse conditions and even without oxygen.
